Practices of Faith

statue-communityPractices of Faith are those classes and practices that help us to grow in love. We seek to learn different forms of prayer so that we can become more intimately connected to Jesus and grow deeper in his love. We participate in classes so we can explore our faith and learn from each other. When we read scripture either together or at home, we learn our common story, our story that begins in love and ends in love – a love that comes from God and claims us as his beloved.

The opportunities we have to explore practices of faith are…

Sunday mornings – 9am at the church

  • Short-term, discussion-based studies on different topics

Friday evenings (1st & 3rd Fridays) – 6:30pm at the church

  • Short-term, discussion-based studies on different topics

We are currently seeking ways to grow in our youth ministry.

We offer a fun and education time for children on Sunday mornings following the children’s time in worship (except for the 1st Sunday of the Month when children are invited to remain in worship so that they can experience worship and celebrate Holy Communion with the community.)

  • For children ages 5-5th Grade
Prayer Garden/Playground

A place of reflection, prayer, and some worship services. It can be found next to our playground and both are open to the public. We also seek to offer worship services in our prayer garden.
